A demon saying it looks forward to homefield advantage??? Isn't daddy Winchester on their homefield now?!?

I don't think he is, actually. Remember the season two closer, John appears to have climbed out of hell with the demons. Although I could be wrong. But that was what it seemed to imply.

Yeah he did appear but he pulled the YED back into hell so the demon would not go into Sam. Besides if he was out of hell wouldn't the writers have put him into a show by now?

That's right, I don't know now, the previews for next week had some indication of John. And also, I think it's been said that they wouldn't mind having John back for something, but that Jeffery Dean Morgan is so busy lately it probably won't happen. But I don't know... that is perplexing... Maybe he is in hell, but the demon is just anticipating getting Dean in particular on his turf? maybe the ep will explain it all. *L*

Well Bella's fate came out of left field!!!!!!!!!!!! But at least she confirmed Lillith does hold the contract and I still say Lillith has the colt OR maybe Ruby now has the complete demon set??? Oh and buried eternal guy is definitely coming back for another episode.
So now that Bella is gone that only leaves Ruby, can't wait to see what part she plays in the season finale.

I wonder if they're going to use the mythological Lilith - the mother of all demons.

Yeah, I'd figured Lilith was gonna be the Lilith.

I'd like to hope that Bella's not gone for good. I like that actress, that character.

OK you guys made me look this up about Lilith. I can't see them using the Lilith as this could lead to a "come on now they are pushing it" scenario with the fans. No credibility if they win, know what I mean?
That's a BIG demon for the boys to fight even with Bobby, Ruby, Bella (if she survived) and Daddy from down below helping them out. She is a founder of hell and as fans of the show we are supposed to believe a couple of demon hunters could take her out?
A confrontation with Lilith for the series finale would be good cliff hanger (like Angel) but not a season ender where the main focus is how do they get Dean out of the contract. It would be more reasonable if Lilith was a daughter sorta the same level as the boys and a fairer fight.

Great episode.

But I'm afraid Bela is gone for good...I personally loved her but the negative reaction to her elsewhere was pretty overwhelming, not to mention unfair. Sometimes I loathe other Supernatural fans, but whatever.

I liked Bella too. She was in some of the best episodes of the season especially when they involved Dean. She drove him nuts because to me she was the same as Dean.

Yeah, I was bummed to find they were getting rid of Bella, I've read a few of the people 'bashing' her, and it's just insane. Seriously, they were probably set on hating her before she ever stepped on screen, and no matter what the actress or character did, some people would have found some reasons to hate her. :P
