Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) take a break from their usual gig to star in a gritty reality show called "Ghostfacers" which chronicles the pursuit of the paranormal. Ed Zeddmore (guest star A. J. Buckley) and Harry Spengler (guest star Travis Wester) have created a radically different and sometimes violent show full of profanity that takes them to the Morton Mansion, an abandoned estate which becomes one of the most haunted places in America one night each year.

However, as their team begins to get picked off in grisly manners not fit for television, they realize they are in over their heads.

Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

This one was pretty fun. I missed bits of it, but will watch my tape later to catch it in full. I was amused though.

It wasn't the funniest Ben Edlund-penned ep. Or the scariest. But yeah, pretty good. That mockumentary style just doesn't have the same impact now that it did 10, 20 yrs ago. But those stuck-in-a-loop ghosts were kinda cool.

Come on that show was frickn' hilarious!! They took a shot at the writers strike and those stupid paranormal reality shows. The quips and one-liners were funny. I enjoyed this show a lot especially when they used a little skull over Sam and Deans mouth when they were cussing and the blurred hand when Dean flipped the bird...funny It was nice to have some comic relief before the big final 3 episodes that are definitely going to be tense plus it was a nice way to come back from the writers strike. Also I loved how they roled the credits of the show at the end of the show instead of the beginning very smart.

There were some good quips..."go be gay for that poor dead intern" or whatever it was :)

And having Sam and Dean swearing, that felt more realistic. You just gotta be cussing when you're shotgunning dead serial killers, chewing out clueless ghost hunter wannabe's...

Yeah, the swearing was funny, and the credits at the end were cool. *L* I definitely enjoyed it and thought it was funny. And I loved the guys little 'prank' at the end, wiping the footage in one swoop. *L* The jokes were cute and funny. Not my favorite episode, but I've yet to really find an ep I couldn't enjoy some part of. And this was definitely enjoyable from start to finish. Was it the best reality spoof I've seen, no, but it was pretty damn fun all the same. :)
