I enjoyed it even though it really wasn't a good episode in terms of plot, but the highlights that made me enjoy it were The Doctor pointing a Gun to General Cobbs head, now that stunned me and I don't blame him really,I thought for a moment he was overwhelmed by his grief, but then we see it was really just him getting angry and proving a piont just so General Cobb could be shocked into some sort of shame.

Anyway I was dissapointed he didn't see her come back, really wanted him to know that there was a part of him out there somewhere that says he has some sort of family around! That alone gives it a 3 stars from me and the other dissapointment was the weak plot, the solution was actually an atmospheric alteration device that gives everyone a chance to start agian after their "war" is ended! Jeez!

I don't see the point explained in the plot for the war in the first place had any oomph to it.

BUT I enjoyed it just for the Doc bonding with his daughter and facing upto himself just for once! DT was superb during the final scenes.

That's what made like it I guess..
Catherine Tate's Donna was supberb in this being the much need concience that the Doc badly needed! She got him to listen to her hearts! Beautiful moment and one that sticks in my head alot.Made him face up to the fact that she is a part of him regardless of how she came to be, bacause he'd lost his family he couldn't face it again, but Donna made him!

Loved this ep to pieces...it looked like it was old school Who and then suddenly became ever-so modern. Donna is rapidly becoming my fave companion ever...Rose who? ;) I wonder if we'll see Jenny again...I hope we do. Did she have a re-generation or was it something else?

Donna signed her death warrant tonight:(

I really think she IS my favourite companion. There has been a couple of iffy episodes recently but Donna has been the best thing in them.

Tonight she surpassed everything. I loved her 'I'll tell you something Doctor, something I've never told you before. I think you're wrong' comment and scene.

This was great.

Genny - I do NOT care how the show writers spell it, her name was shortened from Generated not Jenerated - was great and HOT.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were introduced to the next Companion tonight.

Confusing, jumbled up, slapped together bits of old sci-fi, and yet great fun. I really enjoyed it, especially the last bit with Genny in the spacecraft. I was like "Woo hoo". Can hardly wait to see her again.

I really enjoyed this episode! BoTD has pretty much covered what I was going to say, apart from the Genny being great and HOT 'lol'

She was great, but I prefer The Doctor. ;)

I liked Genny's character alot & said to my hubby that she would make an interesting companion, and I'll be very surprised if we don't see her again in the very near future!

Donna was brilliant...I love her, she is just so great, and depsite being an avid Rose fan, Donna is truly outshining her for me now.

That is something that I never thought would happen as I thought Rose was such a fantastic companion, but each episode Donna's scenes are usually my favourite and she is just something else that none of the other companions have been, and I LOVE that about her! :D
