Right IF you haven't seen this episode look away now!

Bits I loved: (have to start with the good bits)

THAT regeneration scene, I *knew* that it would somehow get resolved, and the direct it to the hand was a handy idea!

His being two Doctor's, well since I saw the photo's and read speculation I wasn't too surprised, BUT I was surprised at how it happend, and Human/TimeLord Doc was awsome! the scene where he emerges and is nekkid was quite a hilarious sight! and his mimiking Donna was funny.

He also got rid of those pesky Daleks that Ten would of been too spinless to do.

BUT that disturbed Ten to an extent he had a go at him, which was hypocritical as he wasn't above destroying them as his 7th self. I guess all that violence from the Time War was to blame, that he was scared that his Humanself was in danger of going down a dark path. Still good emotional impact, of seeing him imerge from the TARDIS all rambolike! very NINE. Speaking of his aubergine top was one of Nine's I'm sure worn in "The unquiet dead".

That scene where they fly the TARDIS great stuff.
Ten and BluesuitedTen let Rose have her man, and he is part human and has one heart, he can spend his lifetime with her and love her the way Brown suited Ten (even though he does) can't.
Plus he HAD to whisper "I love you" instead of saying it out loud? Couldn't Ten say it too, even though he couldn't? I did like how he said "He needs fixing, like you fixed me" In other words he was giving her his heart, his lifetime through a part of him that could, and that was better than "Quite right too" then fade away!

Which leaves me to the bits I hated,
Davros. I know he is the bad guy and it was for the emo effect BUT taunting Ten that he raises up murderers and uses people like weapons spoke mainly of sour grapes and pot kettle and Black. How I wanted to hug Ten! He didn't deserve that, it isn't like he deliberatly uses people and they sacrifice because he put a gun to their heads, it is out of love for a man who fights injustice and if it means death they know what they are doing and seeing it as the only way they can save their planet.

He allows people to see their potential and yes it means they die or go on the fight, weapons are not allways guns and knives, Sarah-Jane fights but no guns etc.

Someone should of stood up for him. He has enough guilt already. Jack uses his fists and guns anyway and long before he met the Dr.

Martha was underused, was hardpressed to see all companions sans Rose willing to blow up earth to stop Davros, ok I like to think it was a bluff to get Davros to lay off.BUT it remined Ten too closey of his actions in the Timewar.

Donna's exit. Why couldn't Jack of been shot in her place? why has the Doc got to make another heartbreaking desision to save someone?
Couldn't Donna just leave and come back on and off? Or DO something heroic? It was a WASTE of a companion and all the potential she had and developed.

Apart from that the beach scene was full of squee and very Farscape the way both Doctor's were established (Crighton got split in 2 literally)

Got very emotional seeing him go into the TARDIS alone and dispondant! EMO it up RTD!

Just pure bloody brilliant! Don't expect this old fanboy to come up with a rational critique :) Best bits...German-speaking Daleks (hankered back to Terry Nation's original Daleks as Nazis concept), Doctor and Rose recognising Gwen's ancestry :), K-9 saving the day (again!). Saddest bit...Donna's mind-wipe and Wilf's acknowledgement of it. There's more but I have to go to bed now :)

I loved this episode!! I must have watched it 10 times already!!

Did anyone else noticed how the Doc 2 and Rose's outfits matched!! I loved the first Dr's comment of 'He needs you. That's very me.' And I also don't think that he was just going to say at the end of season 2 'Does it really need saying.' I watched the confidentials afterwards and the directors/writers were confirming how hard it was for the original Doctor, that he's basically giving Rose this perfect image of him which isn't actually him :(

Does anyone else think that Martha and Mickey are going to be the two new additions to Torchwood? That would be pretty cool.

I loved the Doctor 2 and Donna scene were he's mimicing her. It was hillarious!!

An amazing series finale!!

Definitely a strong hint at Mickey and Martha for Torchwood, and whoopee, if you ask me, but they should still find a way to bring back Tosh.

I loved this one too. The second part pushed the finale 2 parter up a couple of levels on my personal best of list.

I thought I had already posted it here but according to RTD on a TV interview recently, he said there is a very strong hint at the end of this episode of who the two new members of Torchwood will be.

The moment I saw Doctor 2, I knew he'd go with Rose which would leave Mickey Superfluous so would stay.

I love the idea of Mickey and Martha, though I would have prefered James Marsters - well ideal would be all three:)
