Anyone use this?

I love it - it's the shiznit, lol. I was on it like three hours the other day....for some reason they make boring things seem interesting....and they have at least a little blurb about practically everything.

I have it bookmarked. It's a great site for looking up anything and everything, almost. I've been using it a lot while working on some stories, to look up the actual ideas around things.

Right now I'm using it to look up bands I might like. p

But I writer stories a lot, too, and I use it for research.

It's a great resource but not without its problems, which they are starting to address with a much stricter editing policy, according to an article in the Times I read in the last couple of days. I use it a lot for looking up stuff which is a matter of record but apparently there is a lot of subjective comment in there as well...so beware of taking some articles as gospel.

I noticed the stricter policy... everywhere you look it says citation needed.

It's great though, like P17, I can spend hours on end reading through it. I read all the profiles for serial killers on there once... very fascinating.

Yeah, I spent the last week reading about angels, demons, ghosts, and other occulty kind of stuff. *L* All to work on my Supernatural series *L*

I also love that encyclopidia Mythica... cool site :)

I love reading about religious and philosophical concepts, helps broaden the mind.
