Speculation on Mary and Jessica's Death...

Someone on TV.com brought this up, and I can't believe I never thought of it....

What if Mary and Jessica were both pregnant? I know they're also also obviously connected by Sam and/or the Winchester family, but both were sliced across the abdomen...

Maybe the kids that they were both having were the ones to destory the evil? Or the kids were gods gift? They were probaly holy in some way and thats why the ladies were killed.

The hitchhiker chick, when she was conjuring with that chalice of blood—she addressed whatever she was talking to as "father". And, she's about the same age as Sam is supposed to be? Dunno...

It's very possible. I know there's a certain amount of time that a woman cannot get pregnant after she's recently had a baby. And, as we know, Mary recently had a baby. But, baby Sammy is probably around 6 months old at the time of the pilot, and I think a woman can become pregnant by that time.

But, it begs the question why this demon allowed Dean and Sam to be born if it is after Winchester women before they give birth. (I know that Jessica isn't technically a Winchester, but I bet that Sam would have married her.)

Aarrrgggghhh!!!!! :O My thoughts are so jumbled. I have too many thoughts to put down! It's hard to get them from my head to my fingers.

It might have been because Sam and Dean were boys, and maybe Jessica and Mary were both gonna have girls. There may be some significance, some prophecy for the first girl to be born from a Winchester, or the demon may just go for that kind of thing.

ok but why does the demon go after other mothers when their 2nd baby is 6 months? i mean if it was just gonna stick to the Winchesters i mean why would it kill others?

I think it has to do with the baby's being six months old, i watched the eppy before the conclusion last night so it had that idea. we'll just have to wait and see.The babys may have powers the demon wants like Sam for instance he has visions, so maybe the other kids do to, like the boy that had telekineses in one eppy and lost his mother in a similar way to Sam.
