So...I just started watching this show last week, but have only gotten to the first three episodes. It's really funny...I didn't think I would because I usually hate CBS sitcoms but this one is awesome. Anyone here seen it?

I watch it when it's on and when Kitchen Confidential isn't on...but I find it has really stupid humor and bad writing, and honestly can't understand why it's so popular.

I think the humor is a lot less stupid than Kitchen Confidential. :p That show is kinda dull to me and I'm not surprised it's canceled. I mean...I watched it and enjoyed it but it definitely wasn't a favorite.

HIMYM is like bathroom humor, so to speak - cheap laughs.

Oh, and how can I forget my favorite recurring line? "Haaavvvee you met Ted?"

It's popular because it's a "chick" comedy. The girls like the "I'm in touch with my feminine side" Ted and his touchy feely attempt at finding his true love. For me I love Hannigan's character. Blunt and not afraid to say what's on her mind.

Yeah the guy has looser written all over him. Actually his doctor should test his testosterone level he's close to having his male club card revoked. But there are women out there who like guys like that. He's a puppy dog just begging to be paper-trained, lol.

Oh, whatever. You may be right about the "puppy dog" part but the other insult is just uncalled for. And not true. lol

P17 it might have been harsh but when a woman runs around looking for a man like he's looking for a woman everyone says her biological clock sounds like Big Ben. The testosteron check was the only thing I could think of as a comparisson. I'll try to think of another assessment and post it later, it will be sarcastic but not mean ok?
